Ambassador Putman-Cramer has been active in a variety of international fora these last few years, in his capacity as Permanent Observer of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) to the United Nations in Geneva, providing support to a variety of initiatives undertaken by – or aimed at – PAM member states. This has involved developing and applying various aspects of parliamentary diplomacy, often as input complementary to actions undertaken under the auspices of the United Nations. As Director of DIHAD’s International Scientific Advisory Board, Amb. Putman-Cramer has put together and overseen the Conference Programme of the annual DIHAD events, this since its beginning in 2004. The last Conference (12-14 March 2019) had as its theme: “People on the Move” (www.dihad.org). From 1975 until 2009 Amb. Putman-Cramer was with the United Nations, initially with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and subsequently with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (DHA/OCHA). He served in New York (on 3 separate occasions), in Geneva (also on 3 separate occasions) and in a variety of field locations (including 2 years in Malaysia and 3 years in Madagascar). The last 14 years of his UN career saw him in the position of Chief of OCHA’s Emergency Services (concurrently appointed as Deputy Director, OCHA Geneva), during which time he created and developed a number of effective international response mechanisms and instruments (e.g the United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination Team – UNDAC – and the Civil/Military Coordination concept ) while also reinforcing, together with the concerned authorities in disaster-prone countries, essential response capacities at the community, national and regional levels. During this period also, he led a large number of emergency/disaster response missions to, inter alia, Iraq (in the years 1991-94 and in 2003, as Area Coordinator for the Centre Region), the Caucasus, Tajikistan, Pakistan (the 2005 earthquake), Turkey, Mongolia, Thailand and Indonesia (also in the context of the South-East Asia Tsunami). Amb. Putman-Cramer has a ‘’Diplôme Universitaire en Santé Humanitaire’’ from the University Claude-Bernard in Lyon, a Post-Graduate Diploma (Economics, International Relations and International Law) from the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, a Post-Graduate Diploma (Economic Development) from the Polytechnic of North London and a B.A. (Hons.) in Literature from Bedford College, University of London.

Born on 22 April 1942 in Bussnang TG, Switzerland. Joined the Capuchin Order in 1962. Religious Profession on 12 September 1963 in Lucerne (Luzern). After studies in philosophy and theology ordained as a Catholic Priest on 4 July 1967. Specialization in Church Law (Canon Law) at the Universities of Munich/Germany and Fribourg/Switzerland, completed with a Doctorate in Theology in 1976. Lecturer of Canon Law at the theological study house in Solothurn/Switzerland and tutor of French and German speaking students. From 1986 to 1994 Provincial Superior of the Capuchins in Switzerland. From 1994 to 2003 General Councilor of the Capuchin Order with residence in Rome, with special responsibility for the French, German and Dutch speaking Capuchins in Europe and Canada and for the Capuchins in the Middle East. On December 12, 2003, elected as Auxiliary Bishop (Assistant Bishop) for the Vicariate Apostolic of Arabia by Pope John Paul II and ordained Bishop in Abu Dhabi on January 30, 2004. On March 21, 2005, elected Vicar Apostolic of Arabia by Pope John Paul II and succeeding Bishop Bernard Gremoli as head of the Catholic Church in six countries of the peninsula, i.e., UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Bishop Paul Hinder in 2007 appointed consultor of the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue, in 2008 member of the Pontifical Council for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People and in 2009 consultor of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples. Recently some changes with the re-organization of the Curia. Presidential Board of OASIS. Santa Marta Group on Human Trafficking. In November 2008 member of the Catholic Delegation of the first meeting of the Catholic-Muslim Forum held in Rome, followed by other conventions. In October 2010 member of the Special Assembly for the Middle East of the Synod of Bishops in Rome. On 31 May 2011 the countries of the Arabian Peninsula were formed into the two Vicariates of Northern Arabia (Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia) and Southern Arabia (United Arab Emirates, Oman, and Yemen). Bishop Paul Hinder was then given the responsibility as the Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia, having his residence in Abu Dhabi in the U.A.E. After the death of Bishop Camillo Ballin of the Vicariate of Northern Arabia, Bishop Paul is appointed as the Apostolic Administrator of the Vicariate of Northern Arabia on 13 May 2020 by Pope Francis. Bishop Paul has authored a book titled, Un Vescovo in Arabia, La Mia Esperienza Con L’Islam (A Bishop in Arabia- My experience with Islam) Which is available in Italian and German. The Arabic translation of the book is in progress. Bishop Paul has been a good will Ambassador of UAE to many countries in the world. Bishop Paul Hinder lead the Meditation for the world leaders during the inaugural prayer session of the 74th UN General Assembly in New York in 2019, based on the Document on Human fraternity for world peace and living together signed by Pope Francis and Sheikh Ahmed el-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar on 4 February 2019 in Abu Dhabi. Bishop Paul is a well-known face from the Arabian Peninsula to many of the European media. Bishop Hinder speaks fluently German, English, French, Italian and some Spanish.

Chris Gardner is an entrepreneur, international best-selling author and an award winning film producer. Gardner’s autobiography, The Pursuit of HappYness became a New York Times #1 best seller and has been translated into over forty languages, including six (6) dialects of Chinese and recently into Arabic. Gardner’s book, The Pursuit of HappYness was the inspiration for the critically acclaimed film in which Will Smith received the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild and Academy Award nominations for his performance. His second book, “Start Where You Are” also a best seller was published in 2009. Gardner’s new book “Permission to Dream” was selected as “Book Of The Month” by the Wall Street Journal upon its publication. After ‘retiring’ from thirty-seven years in the financial services industry, Gardner has described himself as a 67 year old ‘start up’ with significant interest in fin tech. Gardner currently serves on the boards of Verify Me (VRME, NASDAQ), The Change Company (CDFI established by the U.S. Treasury Department) and Smart Easy Pay. Two years ago, Gardner became the oldest “recruit” in the history of the United States Navy and has spoken on behalf of the United States Navy on the issues of recruiting and retention of talent at Career Development Symposiums (CDS) at naval bases and air stations globally. Gardner’s major priority is the work of his foundation, The Christopher P. Gardner Foundation which is working to change the trajectory of young people’s lives. Gardner has described this effort as “making an alternative investment in human capital.” Gardner is currently doing a “tour” that will have him speak at 1,000 public schools all across America.

Clare Dalton is currently the ICRC's Head of Mission in the United Arab Emirates, a role she just started after spending four years at the ICRC’s Headquarters in Geneva as the Head of Humanitarian Diplomacy, ensuring the ICRC’s diplomacy in all its components revolve around its global policy and humanitarian diplomacy objectives. From 2013-2016, she was the ICRC's Humanitarian Action Advisor working on humanitarian policies alongside the United Nations in Geneva. She later took on the role of overseeing the work of the ICRC’s New York Delegation. Prior to this, Clare spent several years in the field with the ICRC occupying a variety of posts amid different contexts, including Angola, Iraq, Kenya, Nepal and Sudan. She has also worked with the British Red Cross and the United Nations Development Program. Clare has a BA in Anthropology from University College London and an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS.

Clarence Seedorf is the most successful player of Dutch history and one of the most talented footballers in football history, having also coached in 4 Continents (South America, Europe, Asia, Africa). Seedorf is one of the six persons in the world to have been chosen by Nelson Mandela to be a Legacy Champion, he is UEFA Global Ambassador for Diversity & Change and Member of the FIFA Diversity Award Jury. Clarence Seedorf has an Honoris Causa Degree in Humanities and the highest civil Decorations in Suriname and in the Netherlands, for the contribution given to both countries on different fields. He founded in 2004 the Champions for Children Foundation, supporting and financing projects related to Education and Sport. During his whole career, Clarence Seedorf has always used sport and its influence to promote change and create a better world. Seedorf speaks 6 languages, completed his education in business, sport psychology and NLP with the main experts on international level, becoming also assistant Professor in Sport Science at Catholic University of Milano. Clarence Seedorf has been a blogger for the NY Times and travels the world inspiring the next generations, from youth jails in Brasil to students of Oxford University. Seedorf is currently a member of the Support Committee of Fondazione Veronesi, a foundation committed to promote scientific research, a member of the Strategic Committee of the UN Science Panel for the Amazon and Founder & Chairman of the Black Impact Foundation.

Eng. Khaled Habeeb Alattar is the Executive Board Member and Middle East Regional Manager of EMMA for Peace or the Euro-Mediterranean Music Academy for Peace one of the biggest international organizations dealing with music diplomacy, education and peace in collaboration with the UN organizations, such as the UNICEF and UNHCR. With EMMA, Eng. Alattar has been involved in organizing some of the most important international events such as the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates for two consecutive years in addition to various workshops and events around the world. Eng. Alattar is also the Founder and Chairman of GADHA Group Initiatives, a non-profit organization designed to serve the community through the use of human talent and youth empowerment. In addition, Eng. Alattar was elected as the Youth Committee UAE Coordinator for the Italy-UAE Association, where he works with young entrepreneurs of both countries by creating a bridge of business and cultural exchange in order to maximize their business opportunities and exposure. Furthermore, Eng. Alattar is also a Mechanical Engineering Faculty at the Higher Colleges of Technology. Despite his young age, Eng. Alattar has always been active and has possessed a keen sight for humanitarian services and serving the community, especially by working with youth both nationally and globally. He started his career in 2002, at the young age of 14 through organizing a series volunteer activities which served various fields of his interest. After 18 years, at the age of 33, Eng. Alattar's impressive effort has led him to being awarded over 450 times for organizing hindered of events for youth and community, conducting tens workshops, teaching more than 24000 students in leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, literature, etiquette, peace, diplomacy, culture and other soft skills.

His Excellency Fahad Al Gergawi is the Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Investment Development Agency (Dubai FDI), an agency of Dubai Economy – Government of Dubai. In his Current role he leads a team that develops, promotes and supports the foreign direct investment (FDI) environment and projects in Dubai. H.E. is the President of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), leading the global FDI body from 2019 to 2021. He also serves as the Secretary General of Hamdan Centre for the Future of Investment (HCFI), where he leads a global program to promote "Impact FDI" as a key to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Al Gergawi is a member of Dubai Economy’s Executive Committee; chairs the Dubai Investment Week organizing committee and sits on the advisory board of MODUL University in Dubai. Scottish Born Actress and Singer Kelly Mathieson made her name in Musical Theatre when she landed the prestigious lead role of Christine Daaé in the Original Production of ‘Phantom of the Opera’ in Londons West End. Growing up, Kelly trained first as a Ballet Dancer with the respected Scottish Ballet Company going onto decide to focus her career path in Opera and classical singing at the Royal College of Music before transitioning into Musical Theatre where she feels most at home as a performer. During her near 3 year run as Christine Daaé, Kelly built momentum on the concert stage platform performing at the Royal Albert Hall and Royal Concert Hall as a soloist, then onto Cadogan Hall, London where she played the part of Tonia in the UK Premier of ‘Dr Zhivago’. She also joined a star-studded cast of singers on a UK tour of Christmas concerts with West End International. Kelly has recently been engaged to play Neille in Rodger and Hammerstein’s ‘South Pacific’ next year with Broadway conductor Larry Blank at Toulon Opera House. Kelly will be performing in concerts across the globe later this year. Kelly will be releasing her first album early 2022. Kelly was also contracted to play Eline in Bernstein’s ‘Wonderful Town’ in Toulon prior to taking her award winning interpretation of Christine Daaé to Shanghai before covid hit.

Mario Stephan is the Executive Director for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)’s UAE regional office since 2018. He brings today over 17 years of experience in the Aid & Relief sector, having worked for a number of international organisations in a variety of contexts. Mario’s experience encompasses a wide variety of roles, from field work to executive roles. In the course of his career, Mario has lived and worked in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Egypt. Mario also held regional positions covering eastern and southern Africa, the MENA region, and the Gulf. Mario first worked with MSF in 2009, and before his ap-pointment as Executive Director, was the founding director of Arabian Perspectives, a consultancy firm providing expertise and knowledge on the Arab World to the relief and development sectors. Mario speaks Arabic, English, French and Spanish, and holds a Master’s degree in Management and Business Administration from the KEDGE business school (Bordeaux, France). He is accredit-ed as a professional trainer by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (London, United Kingdom), and as a mentor at senior practitioner level by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (Brussels, Belgium).

2012 – 2021 Before taking up my current post with the EUYO, I advised and taught at Fundación Musical Simón Bolívar in Venezuela, lead Southbank Centre’s International Sistema Research Programme in London, worked with the British Council to develop new international youth orchestra networks, and advised and tutored the Eastern Partnership ‘I, Culture’ Orchestra composed of young musicians from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Poland and the Ukraine. I was a member of Sistema Global's Advisory Board, and for six years, the British Council's Arts and Creative Economy Advisory group. Other projects in the last decade include teaching at the Neojiba project in Bahia, Brazil, and creating and directing 'SERA', an online global Sistema Evaluation and Research Archive. In recent years I have taught and/or lectured in Abu Dhabi, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, China, Dubai, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Venezuela, the UK and the USA. 1994-2011 Between 1994 and 2006 I was Chairman and then Chief Executive of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, an orchestra which I co-founded with colleagues in 1985, and from 2006 - late 2011, Head of Music at London's Southbank Centre (including during the reopening of the Royal Festival Hall in 2007), where I programmed and oversaw one of the largest arts centre music programmes in the world. 1997-2002 Before entering the world of music programming and management I enjoyed a 25 year career as an orchestral, solo and chamber violinist, recording and performing in more than 60 countries. I have worked regularly with major artists such as Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Roger Norrington, Pierre Boulez, Daniel Barenboim, Claudio Abbado, Mariss Jansons, Gustavo Dudamel, Mitsuko Uchida, Maurizio Pollini, Lang Lang and Cecilia Bartoli, and in an eclectic career have happily collaborated as a performer with musicians as varied as the Moscow Soloists, Baaba Maal and The Michael Nyman Band. Beginning in the 1970s, I was a member of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and then Concert-Master of the Orquesta Filarmonica de Caracas, Professor with the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela, a Principal player with Amsterdam Baroque, Leader of the Orchestra of St. John’s Smith Square, and a player member and Executive Director of Endymion Ensemble, as well as appearing as leader with many orchestras including the Academy of Ancient Music, the London Classical Players and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. Recordings: Numerous recordings include the Rossini String Sonatas with Chi-Chi Nwanoku, Richard Tunnicliffe and Elizabeth Wallfisch, Globokar’s string quartet Discours VI with Domus, the complete Beethoven symphonies with Sir Roger Norrington, complete Bach Cantatas with Ton Koopman, complete Haydn Symphonies with Christopher Hogwood, and a number of film scores in studios with groups including The Michael Nyman Band. Teaching: I have worked for decades in music education, particularly between the late 1970s and late 1990s and after 2012, designing projects at primary, secondary and university level, and teaching at institutions including Bristol University, The Royal Academy of Music, The Royal College of Music and El Sistema. In 2014 I created the European Music Campus at Grafenegg, and was the driving force behind Towards 2020, a Creative Europe programme to help skill young musicians in the EU for 21st century challenges. My current education work focuses on the way in which musical and cultural activity can help the development of young people from all of the various diverse areas that make up contemporary society, seeing culture as one of our best 'engines' for global exchange, learning and development. Education: I am an MA graduate of The Queen's College Oxford University in Philosophy and Experimental Psychology - where I was President of the Oxford Musical Club and Union, a Hastings Scholar and a Music Exhibitioner - and a post-graduate at Trinity College Cambridge University in the teaching of English. I became an Associate of the Royal College of Music in performance in 1973. My violin teachers, to whom I owe an immense debt, included principally Michael Vyner, Frederick Grinke, and Eta Cohen, with the latter of whom I studied for 10 years. Other Activities: Board, judging panel and advisory appointments have included The Royal Philharmonic Society, The Association of British Orchestras, The British Association of Concert Halls, Kings Place Music Foundation, Sphinx UK, BBC Musician of the Year, and The Leverhulme Trust. I was Vice Patron of the Kampala Music School Appeal, and am an Honorary Fellow of The Worshipful Company of Musician's, an advisor for the National Orchestra For All (NOFA), and was a founding member of the Art.Change.Europe Alliance. I appeared regularly on UK BBC radio and TV during previous decades, and have written for a number of publications including, principally, the UK Guardian and the website Chameleonworld. My blog has focused mainly on El Sistema and the classical music world, but also contains selected essays from Chameleonworld, and has been accessed by people in well over 120 countries.

Dr. Nasr Arif is a professor of Political Science, Cairo university, Egypt. He is currently the advisor to the Chairman of the World Muslim Communities Council. Prior to that he held several posts in the UAE including: The Advisor to the President of The United Arab Emirates University, Advisor to the Minister of Tolerance, Advisor to the President of Zayed University, Advisor to the Minister of Culture, and the Executive Director of the Institute for Islamic World Studies, Zayed University. His fields of specialization include Curriculum Development, Comparative Politics, Politics in the Middle East, Political development, Epistemological and Cultural Studies, and Islamic Political Thought. He developed curricula for the following degree programs: Master of Islamic and Social Sciences, Master of Religious Practice, Bachelor of Islamic Studies (six concentrations), and Bachelor of Arts in Arabic and Islamic Studies. He also developed curricula for the general education courses on Islamic Studies at Zayed University, and the UAE National Curriculum on Islamic Studies (K-12)

He has performed for brands including Zara and Loro Piana, as well as exclusively for the global launch of Haig Club by David Beckham. Oliver was also invited (alongside Beyoncé) to perform at the Ambani wedding in India, playing with multiple Grammy and Oscar winner A.R. Rahman. This December, Oliver will return to Sky Arts for a holiday special show with Carly Paoli, Joseph Calleja, Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi & friends, and in 2022 to the International Composers Festival as youth ambassador, where he will be giving the world-premiere of his new music.

Paolo Petrocelli, PhD-EMBA-FRSA, is a senior cultural manager driven by the belief that culture, arts and education are a major force for growth, development and change globally. A passionate, innovative and dynamic manager with an extensive experience in leadership positions in a variety of organizational settings, he is an international relations and global cultural affairs expert. Petrocelli is the founding Director General of the Stauffer Center for Strings of Cremona, the first international music center dedicated entirely to stringed instruments, and Director General of the Accademia Stauffer, one of Italy’s most prestigious music institutions. In order to serve as an active citizen and support non-profit activity, he has become a leading member of some of the most prestigious international organizations, including United Nations, UNESCO, World Economic Forum. Petrocelli is the Co-Founder and Honorary President of the Italian Youth Association for UNESCO, the largest youth organization in the UNESCO system worldwide, which he chaired as President for five years (2015-2019). As a music diplomacy ambassador, he serves in institutional roles to forge bonds through music in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the US. Petrocelli is the Founder and President of EMMA for Peace (Euro-Mediterranean Music Academy for Peace) and the Co-Founder and Director of Institutional Relations & International Affairs of Opera for Peace - Leading Young Voices of the World. He serves as Advisor and Chairperson of the Music Commission Education Committee of the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as Cultural and Music Diplomacy Officer for the Permanent Secretariat of the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates and Cultural Advisor to Coldplay, the multi Grammy award-winning British band. Petrocelli holds a PhD in Cultural Economics, Marketing and Creativity from the IULM University of Milan, an Executive MBA from SDA Bocconi School of Management of Milan, a Diploma in Violin Performance (MA) from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia of Rome, a BA in Literature, Music and Entertainment from La Sapienza University of Rome, a BA (Hons) Music from Middlesex University of London and a Diploma of Expert in National and International Ceremonial and Protocol from SIOI, Italian Society for International Organizations and the Oxford Executive Leadership Programme Certificate from Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford. He is a Research Affiliate at the metaLAB (at) Harvard, an experimental research unit dedicated to innovation in the arts, media and humanities at Harvard University. He has been a Yale University Visiting Fellow (2011-2012) and a Visiting Researcher at MIT Media Lab (2016), the interdisciplinary research laboratory at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, Massachusetts). To help shape the next generation, Petrocelli lectures at leading universities (including Yale University, MIT, New York University, Université Paris-Sorbonne) about management and international cultural relations. He serves as a Lecturer at LUISS Business School - School of Management, John Cabot University, Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Conservatorio di Musica di Adria, Sole 24 Ore Business School and European School of Economics in Rome and Visiting Professor at Burgundy School of Business in Dijon, France. He is the Program Coordinator for the Professional Certificate in Cultural Diplomacy and International Cooperation, promoted by the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) and Scientific Director for the Master in Creative Direction for the Performing Arts at Accademia di Costume e Moda. He served as Director of the Master of Cultural Management at the Rome Business School. He is a Member of the Italian Order of Journalists, a contributor for Forbes and Huffington Post, a Member of the Editorial Advisory Board at Cambridge Scholars Publishing and a TEDx Speaker. Petrocelli is a Fellow of the Royal Society for Arts, an Advisory Council Member of the Harvard Business Review and an Official Member of Forbes Nonprofit Council and Rolling Stone Culture Council.

Patrick is Pfizer's Regional President for Africa and the Middle East (AfME) region. Patrick was appointed in December 2020 to lead commercial operations for AfME and bring breakthroughs across all key therapy areas, including vaccines, oncology, rare diseases, internal medicine, hospitals, and inflammation and immunology. Patrick's Pfizer experience spans more than 20 years in leadership roles with multiple successes across geographies. While completing his degree in International Management, Patrick started his career in the healthcare industry, where he finished a thesis on developing Mexico's generics industry in the early 1990s. This is where Patrick developed a deep interest in the sector. Patrick subsequently held several roles across Europe, Canada, Asia-Pacific (APAC), and New York within multiple departments. He has managed some of the largest therapeutic areas in cardiovascular and neuroscience globally and led the commercial development efforts of a 500+ molecule business. Patrick also led Pfizer's 'Essential Health' division for Asia and, along with 3,100 colleagues, strived to improve global health by making Pfizer medicines increasingly accessible to patients. In his new role at Pfizer AfME, Patrick is looking forward to continuing his journey and bringing breakthroughs to address unmet patient needs. Together with his team, he seeks even more robust collaborations with healthcare professionals, communities, and governments to help change the lives of millions of people in the region. Patrick served on the board of directors of the US-ASEAN Business Council and has spoken at Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the World Economic Forum (WEF). Before AfME, Patrick was the Cluster Lead of Developed Asia & General Manager Pfizer Japan for the Hospital Business Unit. Patrick speaks English, Dutch, German, Spanish and French and is passionate about healthcare, innovation, executive leadership, change management, personal and collective development.
